
Banana Bread
Whether you're looking for breakfast or a sweet dessert treat, this banana bread won't let you down. Add in some chocolate chips, walnuts, maybe a little pineapple or another fruit to give it a lil something extra. This is a quick cook that can be enjoyed at any time.
Ingredients
- 1 banana very ripe
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter melted
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract almond & banana also work
Optional Additions - Don't Pack Too Many In LOL
- chocolate chips 1/8 cup or so
- chopped walnuts less than 1/4 cup
- fruit few pieces of another fruit like pineapple
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt then set it aside
- Mash the banana up in a bowl
- Add sugar, brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla stirring well after each addition
- Slowly add dry ingredients, stirring well between additions
- Fold in any optional ingredients
- Pour into greased ramekin
- Bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
