  • Bring broth to a boil
  • Add vermicelli, broken into small pieces, add to pot and cook 7-9 minutes until tender
  • In a bowl blend butter, cheese and egg
  • Gently beat in cream
  • Add some hot broth to bowl, stirring constantly to temper
  • Add mixture back to pot, stirring constantly until heated through
